Why? That is a question I am asked quite often. "Why turn a 1986 Dodge Daytona into a Delorean Time Machine?" I say..."Why not?" The Back To The Future, Delorean Time Machine is something I have wanted to own since I first stepped foot into that theatre with my Mom, back in 1985. This car embodies the power and spirit of imagination...Something I never want to lose. So why not use a real Delorean? I simply cannot afford, or talk my wife into letting me buy a $25,000 car, just to drill a bunch of holes in it. After nearly a year of searching for a car with a similar body style to the Delorean DMC-12...This 1986 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z practically fell in my lap. Thus began this project.
